Trying to brew apple cider. Pitched yeast on saturday and still nothing. Pulled an empty jug out of the trash and it shows potassium sorbate as a preservative which I assume is inhibiting the yeast. Can this be fixed? Or did I just waste lots of money and time? Help!

Where can I find preservative-free apple juice? The recipe I had said Wal-Mart but I didn't find any there. How will I know if it's preservative free?

All stores sell it... Look for the apple Juice with added vitamin C thats what they add as a preservative every store has preservative free apple juice (with Added Vitamin C) I check all the time Its on sale at my local store for a 1.03 a half gallon I buy the cheapest possible because all i do is get drunk with it and give it to friends
