Does it hurt anything to let specialty grains steep for more than 60 minutes? SWMBO is having me help with errands and I'm in the middle of my brew day! Is there anything I need to do or just let the wort cool down before doing my boil?

All grain, Partial Mash or extract with steeping grains? You should be fine, you'll wind up with better efficiency. What type of beer are you making, better malt efficiency may dilute your hop IBU's (probably not significantly, tough).

Even with the extra time I still hit 50% efficiency according to Beersmith. Anyone have any tips? This is my third beer where my OG has been much lower than anticipated.
