After listening to the BrewStrong - Cleaning podcast, I decided to give PBW a real test (I already use it for my brewing equipment, and have a 5lb tub that will last me for quite a while):

My 2 year old metal tea carafe at work has been nigh-permanently stained with tea on the inside, which no amount of scrubbing has touched.

30 minutes in tap-hot PBW, and it was clean without /any/ scrubbing.

Now to find something that will take the baked oil off the outside of all my pots in the kitchen.

My PBW clumped all up on me and is in large rock form that I have to smash up to use. Has this happened to anyone else? Makes it much harder to dissolve!
