Ive done a few sour beers now and im getting ready to rack one over to secondary on some fruit and what not. and i am going to brew another beer that and use the first fermenter for primary. planning to make a starter with wyeast brett. Lambicus. i know that all plastic equiptment needs to be used for ONLY sour beers from then on. but what about glass? should i be worried about my glass carboys or flasks?

:mug:

Glass is fine. You can even use plastic with a good cleaning. To be safe you could always soak with bleach. Now I keep seperate carboys. I ue glass for sour. Easy way to tell what had wild/bugs in it.

Alright great thanks man, I plan on having a few carboys strictly for sour, glass and plastic, i was mainly worried about making the Wyeast 5526 starter in my brand new flask. But yea thanks again man. cheers
