Recent trip with SWMBO around west Texas in the first two pics. Unfortunately I got zero pictures of the awesome scenery.

Third pic was a recent solo trip through East Texas. I miss the Piney Woods....

Last pic was a year ago, but posting it anyway because I really want to go back. Me climbing up Pike's Peak, though this picture was taken somewhere near the bottom. 14 miles of amazing trail up and down the mountain.

Me and my boy checking out the "work truck" on Surfside Beach, the next beach south of Myrtle Beach. Got to sample the offerings at New South Brewing while there. Their lager was ho-hum, but their IPA and session pale ale were pretty good. The little guy couldn't join me :(

And here's me & the SWMBO under that same pier just a few weeks ago

Also tried the New South Brewing White Ale for dinner with the family out at K-Rae's in Murrells Inlet. It was very drinkable

Haven't been down there since '89. it was great, beach bummin' down to the tip of South Carolina & back up to Cape Fear for a week. Seafood was fresh caught every morning & 3 bucks a pound cheaper than here. Brought my little gas grill for steaks & such to go with sauteed seafood in the little beach house's kitchen. Remember that view under the pier too.
