Hello all,

I just put my next beer in my primary last night. Everything went very smoothly except that we pitched the yeast after it had only been sitting out for 3-4 hours, instead of the recommended 24.

How will this effect our beer?

It'll most likely be fine especially if it is an average gravity beer. Make take a bit longer to start fermenting.

+1 You'll just see a little more of a lag phase. It will take the yeast a little while to rouse themselves from their cold-induced slumber.

I'm luck to remember to pull my yeast outta the fridge more than an hour before pitching. Never had a problem in 20 batches
