Hey All,

I brewed a black IPA on the 18th of November. Tonight I opened it up to take a gravity reading and add dry hops and found this. The gravity is close to final. The yeast used was US-05.

I dry hopped an IPA I brewed the day before (used US-05 in this as well) and it was at it's FG.

It looks like a krausen to me, but wanted to double check. I've had a few homebrews so I decided to throw in the dry hops anyway, and now I'm wondering if that was the wrong choice.

Thanks,
MDF

I had a red ale fartin thru the airlock for 15 days recently.

Your stuff looks good to me.

3 weeks is the minimum anymore for me regarding time in the primary.

Looks like Kraeusen and perfectly fine. Never had one go quite that long. Closest was a Russian Imperial Stout that went for seven days actively throwing up a Kraeusen.
