My wife went to the Beir Grarden in P-Town a couple of weeks ago and had a Doppelbock Wheat which a stheir best seller and which she really enjoyed. She would like me to brew a similiar berr for her. Any ideas or recipes out there? Searching th forum turns up nothing in a wheat.

That's kind of a weird combo. I haven't heard of that before.

If you can find a recipe for a good doppelbock, I'd bet you could just sub wheat malt for whatever base malt is in it, probably between 20-50% wheat, and the balance the original base malt.

Probably the most popular (and delicious) dopple weizenbock is Aventinus. There must be recipes for that kicking around.
