I got a kit from AHS about a week or two ago. It's partial mash, so the grains are already there...it's in a plastic bag, will it still be good for a while?

what's the time frame/"shelf life" of beer kits from AHS?

:-D

Use it as soon as you can. Every day the grain flavors diminish. I think a month is the most I would wait until use. You are procrastinating.......... Go Brew. :mug:

I've used their kits after five months, but I kept the grain cold. Try chewing a few of the paler grains, if they aren't stale, brew it.

nice guys thanks....

hell i've learned to eat the hop pelots, grain shouldnt be too bad ;).

I took ya'lls advice, i brewed it up last night :-D.

and you were correct, i chewed the grains and they were fine. I guess i lucked out.
