Hello from Northeast PA....

Hello everyone,

I'm Bob from the pizza capital of the world, Old Forge, PA. I brewed a nut brown ale last week & transferred to secondary today. I stumbled onto this forum & used it to troubleshoot some questions last week.

I'm a beer guy with my favorites being Guinness, the Ommegang brews & anything Belguim....but I'll try them all. A local restaurant has a beer club & I recently had my 500th different beer...also a sports nut.

Now with 2 kids ( and tough DUI laws) it's tougher to get out to try beers so I thought I'd try my hand at homebrew.

Hey Kernsie. Welcome to HBT! I used to have in-laws in PA before I got divorced. Ever heard of Mifflentown? I had some good times up there. My x's best friend used to home brew in the 70's and I remember drinking her jalepeno home brew.

I've heard of Mifflintown but think it's out near State College.

I'm in the northeast Scranton/Wilkes Barre/ Poconos area.
