Ok, I have finally amassed most of my kegerator components and now I need to get disconnects, tubing, distributor, and some o-rings.

Here is what I am thinking for a 2 keg setup:
2 gas disconnects 1/4" threaded
2 liquid disconnects 1/4" threaded
20 feet tubing (5 ft per line) 1/4" inner diameter
1 2-way regulator barbed shutoffs
2 full o-ring replacement kits
4 1/4" barb to 1/4" swivel nut
8 worm clamps to tighten around barbs

I am planning on picking this up from kegconnections.com unless anyone knows of a better place.

Please let me know if there is anything I may be overlooking or if I'm going about the barbs/nuts wrong.

Side note: just when I thought I had all my parts I need another $70 worth of bits/pieces :(

1/4" gas line is fine, but I'd go 3/16" on the beer line (and get beer line), and start with 10 feet of beer line for each keg. 5 feet of 1/4" will send the beer out of your faucets like a fire hose! :)

Good choice, going with Keg Connections.

Like he says... I have 5 feet of 3/16" on a fridge conversion and I need more on it.

and kegconnection is a good way to go... they will make it right. I like those guys.

+1 on 3/16 line for beer line and definately start at 10' atleast for each line. The gas line can be any size or length. The 1/4" will fit on the 5/16" nipples really tight by heating up the ends in boiling hot water.

oh, and also do I need to bother with the swivel nuts or should barbs work all around. Or barbs for beer, nuts for gas?

actually I did barbs for gas and nuts for liquid. I dont plan on removing my gas lines, but the liquid lines might get moved around.

I Figured I would just be moving disconnects, not hoses for liquids or gasses. Maybe I don't need any nuts? From what I've read it looks like people like the nuts though.

Additionally, Do I really need a distributor or could I go with something like this: http://morebeer.com/view_product/18246/102296/Gas_Add_On_Assembly

Many people use something like that, (or just buy an inline brass or SS "T"). People will say it's bad because there's no check valve or way to shut off gas to separate kegs, but there's a check valve by the reg, so the worst that happens is you somehow contaminate one beer with another, (which still shouldn't happen because you don't fill the cornys so full that liquid touches the gas dip tube). As for not shutting off the gas, the QD has a valve built in to shut off gas.

I did want the ability to connect and disconnect gas lines though, so I went with this:

using these;

and some 1/4" MPT->1/4" barbs
