Hello everyone,

I got a deal I couldn't pass up for a lb of last year's Columbus when I'd already ordered a lb of this years harvest. I have been using it like crazy and it's still coming out of my ears. Does anyone have suggestions or recipes for "creative" ways to use Columbus. Iv'e made about a dozen IPAs and PAs, pairing it with Chinook, Centenial, Cascade, and Simcoe, so I'm really just looking for an excursion from that line of brews.

Cheers, Joe :mug:

Might not be creative, but seems effective to reduce "Columbus" stock pile.
Brewing this tomorrow..

All-columbus IPA with all the hops added at flameout and dry hopped only?

American stout, very heavy on the late columbus additions?

Arrogant Bastard clone with all columbus instead of all chinook?

Belgian IPA? Saison IPA? India Black Ale? India Brown Ale?

Make some hop infused soap or candles?

Cool, thanks. I like the idea of a big dark beer with lots of hops at the end/dry. I'll have to pick up a bottle of hop heaven tomorrow and see how that makes me feel.

I've done hop infused pickles before. Very interesting, but I don't think I will be making them again.
