So I started an O-Fest/Brewfest brew that will be distributed to my guild members.

Asatru Brewfest Ale.
Makes 5 Gallons
Extract recipe with Steeped Grains.

7 lbs. Light malt extract
.5 lbs Crystal ( 60L )
.25 lbs Chocolate malt
1 oz. German Tradition Hops. Added at beginning of boil.
.5 oz Hersbrucker Hops. Added at 30 minutes of boil.

Wyeast 1007 German Ale Yeast. Whacked, Smacked and Fully Packed.

Steep the grains at 170 degrees in 2 quarts of water for 30 minutes while 2.5 gallons of water come to boil in brew kettle. Add the extracted liquid to the brew kettle.
Remove from heat. add LME. Mix thoroughly.
Return to boil.
Add the Tradition Hops @ start of 60 minute boil. Add Hersbrucker @ 30 minutes.
after 60 minutes, cool to 70 Degrees.
let sit for 60 minutes if it is cloudy.
Siphon cooled Wort into fermentor. Add water to the 5.25 gallon mark.
Aerate the wort then pitch the yeast packet.
Seal. Add airlock.
Wait 7 -10 days for fermentation to complete.

Bottle or Keg at your pleasure. Let your brew age at least two weeks before drinking. If you can find a cold spot to keep them without alliance rogues nabbing them, do so for at least another week

Pour. Drink. Enjoy.

Side note: Dwarves annoy me. They have plenty of well guarded places to lager their brews.. Me... I'm stuck in T'Bluff. No cooling, no snow and thankfully, no Night Elves licking the spigots. Gotta take the good with the bad I suppose.
Can't lager this so a higher temperature yeast is needed. The Ogres taught me a little trick, I hope it works.

For the Horde.
Beercan. Druid. Sen'Jin Server.
