Has anyone else come across ball lock kegs in two different sizes? 3 of mine are 9x22 and the others are 8x25. Just seems a little weird to me. Going to have to be careful when choosing a fridge or freezer.

I looked into this a while ago. There are 2 common sizes for 5 gallon / 20 litre corny kegs. The squatter ones are about 56 cm (22 inches) tall, and about 23 cm (9 inches) across in diameter. The taller ones are 63.5 cm (25 inches) tall, and 20 cm (8 inches) wide. Pepsi are the taller ones and Coke the squatter.

I was worried it was some strange canadian keg that was going to be a problem for me. weird that they would make two different sizes and make everything else the same. Sounds like a waste of tooling to me. The good old days of big profits without having to cut every corner possible.
