We bought a Polder digital meat thermometer that was slick and easy to use on our first four batches. The problem is that I discovered it reads 4 degrees low and can't be calibrated. I'm not worried about the beer (it will still be beer) but am looking for a cheap and accurate thermometer solution. Little to no calibration would be nice. Any suggestions?

I was tired of not being able to trust my digital thermometer so I went to a $10 analog dial thermometer and it's dead-on accurate, plus no batteries.

Edit: ...much like the one in the link above. Yes, you can calibrate this type of thermometer. There's a little nut behind the dial.

(Oops, I didn't mean to put this in a separate post... On my iPhone and must've typed into the wrong textbox.)
