Custom made pot?

There was a thread, at least I thought there was, of some one who had a custom SS pot made and shipped and I can't find the thing.. I believe I am going to need a custom vessel made to fit between 2 keggles to function as an HLT reservoir. Would like to get an idea as to what it will cost.

That's a tough one to answer. Really depends on the shop you find and their willingness to "cut you a deal". I would think that here in the pricy northeast, paying retail shop and labor charges for a custom kettle would be outrageously expensive.

Most of the custom kettle jobs I have seen on the board here have meen either owned fabbed, or someone knew someone and was hooked up based upon an existing relationship / friendship.
