I got a couple of ten gallon barrels from Sons of Liberty Distilling in RI
Nice barrels, ours had been used once for rye whiskey.

I second Sons of Liberty, my whiskey imperial stout came out awesome after 4 months in the barrel.

What do they charge you for the barrels typically? I know it'll change based on the brewery but I don't have any data points so 1 is better than none

My ten gallon barrel was emptied the day before I picked up. It cost $150 and I picked it up at the distillery. http://store.solspirits.com/products/used-10-gallon-american-oak-barrel

I have a sons of Liberty barrel I bought directly from them (for $150) and I've used it 3 times. (First time I won best of show in the ocean state homebrew comp for my RIS). 10 gallons is too much for me though so am thinking of selling it for $100 if anyone is interested. It's never been dry and currently is filled with a tripel. I'm in zip code 02738 if anyone is interested.
