How late can I use a campden tablet?

Hi all,

Started my first all-grain batch today, and I forgot to use 1/2 campden tablet to clean up my tap water before I added it to the mash.

Can I add it to my wort before boiling, or would I be better off skipping it at this point?

Skip it. campden should be added as early as possible to the hlt.
