Due to problems with my thermometer, I thought I was steeping my specialty grains at 155 degrees. However, after it was all said and done with, I realized that I had problems with my thermometer and in all reality it was probably steeping more along the lines of low 200's. Do you think that I extracted too many tannins for it to be decent?

I suspect it will be fine. Who knows, you might like it so much that you start steeping everything too hot: a few tannins might become your unique house flavor :)

Tannin Ale!

Just like it was brewed straight from Tahquamenon Falls!

OT.......Just like this.
