All,

My first batch will have been in the primary for 4 weeks tomorrow. I may not have time to bottle until this weekend. Will that be too long? Should I just bite the bullett and stay up late one night this week and bottle?

I typically leave my beers in the primary for a month, sometimes longer. You will be fine.

I just bottled a batch that sat for 5.5 months, and the beer is fine. So your will be too whatever you decide.

Good for you. All that you've gone through glad to see you're getting back in to the swing of things! :rockin:

Count me as one more 'lazy bottler'. I recently bottled an IPA after six or seven weeks in primary, and it tastes good.

Six weeks. Finally bottled. I think you should bite the bigger bullet and give it another week.
