Also, does it matter that I got a bunch of "crumbs" (bits of the steeping grain that were small enough to escape the mesh bag) in the cylinder? They settled to the bottom before I took the reading. They got into the cylinder because I took the sample from the spigot on the fermenter. Guess they were still swirling around in there. Will that make my reading bogus?
The following corrections are for a Hydrometer rated at 15°C / 60°F
10°C (50°F) -0.005
15°C (60°F) -None
21°C (70°F) +0.001
