Filtering the wort.

I find it very difficult not to pour or syphon the cold break rubbish from the bottom of the kettle into the fermenter.

Would using a coffee filter paper filter too much out?

Any other suggestions for keeping the finer sludges out of the fermenter? (I'm not talking about bits of grain or hop here, just the cold break stuff).
 
Stainless steel mesh straining works well... some say they are hard to clean, but i've never had a problem.
 
Don't worry about it too much. It will all drop/settle with time. I suggest siphoning from the kettle at counter height to the fermenter at floor level, and not pouring the wort.
