s.s. racking cane

w00t!

broke my last plastic cane this morning. found a stainless steel one for eleven bucks at a homebrew shop!

anyone else use the ss cane? only thing i have to worry about now is cracking the fermentors with it

Wouldnt use anything else but SS.

Bought mine after breaking my third plastic. Think of all the money you'll save just from not having to replace them.
Now if they'd just make a SS hydometer.

Did the same thing, broke two or three plastics, went with SS...it will outlive me and for less money than the one's I've broke. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

The HB supply co. I order my stuff from accidentally sent me a ss racking cane. Freebie! It's a long one though so the only downer is it's tough to clean.

I also got a ss mesh screen to put over the end of it - far better at filtering out fruit and other random floaties than the little plastic deal I started with.
