First Decoction

Not the greatest pics, but I brewed Kaisers Alt this weekend. Here are a few shots of the decoction and my pump/chiller assembly.

First is the decoction being brought to boil:


Here it is near the end of the 20 min boil notice the color:


Here is the outlet of my chiller, I added the valve and nipple to easily draw hydro samples and in this case, wort for priming:

I've yet to do a decoction bc I just don't think I've got the time! It would deff be a cool thing to do one of these days.....
