Has anyone ever used the Vintners Harvest Sweet Cherry Puree?

http://www.austinhomebrew.com/product_info.php?products_id=837

I'm trying to make an ale inspired by New Glarus Belgian Red and was wondering whether to use the Oregon cherries, the Vintners, or something similar. Also, how does the weight of a puree compare to the weight of using actually cherries? Any advice/insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

When I use fruit I just put them in secondary. It will taste pretty much how you think it would. But secondary for sure.

They will definitely be going into the secondary, just trying to figure out which product to use and how much of the puree will get the flavor to where I want it.

I've used that brand's blueberry puree in secondary and was pleased with it. I racked a blonde ale on top of it and it was very subtle tasting. It did give it a nice color.

I can't speak to as how much, but I plan on using Oregon Fruit's products.

Going to try a Smoked Cherry Porter. I have heard Oregon Fruit is terrific for brewing.
