the answer you have given away
without a care of what we'd say
nor hint exposed to do us fine
but my best guess would include time

Time again for me to play,
For this riddle I have longed to say.
And coming soon to theaters this one may:

This thing all things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down.

In a movie I remember this quote was said.
A riddle to ponder in my head.
A creature named Bilbo came up with conclusion,
the answer correctly amidst his confusion.
But to all of you I will post my chime,
the answer to this riddle is most definitely TIME

Solved it you did, and quickly too.
You are correct, the both of you!

Sadly five months more we must wait,
To see what becomes of the dragon's fate.

Ok I have one for you to try
I hope it doesn't bring you to tears
What is once in a minute, twice in a moment
but never in a thousand years?

Mmmm....good one. The answer I have, but refrain I will.
To allow others the chance to guess for a thrill.

This morning, when the sun came up, on four legs you saw me move,
then soon enough, the sun was high, and on two legs did I groove.
But now darkness claws
at the days receding fire,
Clocks slow down, it's quiet now, and on three legs I retire.

Timeless! I love the rewording.

As a baby I walk, walk on all fours
Sometimes though I wanted more
As a man I got by with two
And could strut my stuff with the best of you
As an older man I needed a cane
as walking is difficult for my older brain

Well passedpawn, did I get it right
Or should I just turn in for the night?

Genious!!! And if it isn't the correct answer -Still brilliant!!!!

Forgive me for this one it doesn't rhyme.
Here's a riddle from my daughter, it's not a crime.

Mr universe (Schwarzenegger) has a big one.
Michael J. Fox has a smal one
Madonna doesn't have one
The pope has one but doesn't use it.
Bill Clinton has one and uses it all the time.

What is it?

If this isn't the answer
I'll leave in shame
But is the right answer
A last name?

This one may get me banned
and be alone with my hand
but here's the deal, its late at night
and all the net don't agree what's right:

I make polar bears white
and I will make you cry.
I make guys have to pee
and girls comb their hair.
I make celebrities look stupid
and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champane bubble.
If you sqeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?

forgive me :tank:

After I read this question I leaned on my dressor,
My daughter said, Dad don't freak out from the pressure.

NO would be my answer or maybe YES.
It seems the real question is "Can you guess ?".

No answer really seems to work.
The person who wrote this is a jerk.

I give up on this that is clear.

I must agree with ischiavo
Only thing i think is "no"

Yes!

"NO!" It is the only answer that makes sense.
I didn't use my brain with the answer "Pressure"
It came from the internet, to much time I have spent.

I have to admit the reasaon I said pressure
Was because I had read it before it was an automatic gesture.

But my initial resposne when I first read the puzzle
Had NO coming out of my nuzzle

My rhyming is suffering and the homebrew's not greasing my brain,
To roll on with a new witty and clever rhyming chain.

My friends may we move on from this one,
How about another, lets just have some fun. :D

Around the corner there is a tree.
Under the tree there is a school.
In the school there is a desk.
Behind the desk there is a bell.
Behind the desk is the teacher.

What is her name?

I was going to say Mrs. Bell.
The riddle states,
"Behind the desk there is a bell."
There must be another, well.....
he is Mister Bell.

Five siblings are they, their color is true;
One belongs to one, four are shared by two.
Connected together, some by locks;
Many meet their fate upon the rocks.
Arrange their initials, and you should
Find things that are found in a neighborhood.

What has just been described?

Snore...
Bore...
It must be Mt. Rushmore.
This would have been my first guess,
re-read and saw 5 and now its a mess.
Got me thinking about the initials
and really it is quite superficial.
I live in the state that borders on two
and these were really quite good clues.
The things that were described are long, wide and deep.
To swim and to play, some fish I will keep.
I will give the answer, make no mistakes.
What we are looking for are the Great Lakes.

Nice job!
Your answer is correct.
And I do not object.

Now that you've answered one right,
you should post another for our delight.

This thread can't be dying.
Someone's not trying.

I brewed a beer, and pitched the yeast,
then walked a mile south, then a mile east.

Walked another mile north, now I was back to my gear,
Lo! What's that? A bear slurping my beer!

So answer this question (oh it doesn't seem fair),
I ask you, my friends, what color's the bear?

That doesn't look like a riddle to me.
What a ****ing ****** of ****-...
errrr, let's keep it PG:
lschiavo, you're full of bologna.

i must need a lot of sleep
i read emays answer while counting sheep
and still i puzzled over ischiavo's under riddle
thinking it was something full in the middle
I see passedpawn's white bear is best
but i don't understand why he never walked west
oh my poor tire lobe, tomorrow I'll stare at a globe

So do you like yours with or without M&M's? I prefer with. And plenty of dried fruit.
