Hello everyone,

I have been taping the temp probe on my ranco controller to the side of my brew buckets in my chest freezer with duct tape.

Should I count on this as an accurate reading or should I be accounting for fermentation and setting the temp lower?

You might want to look into getting something like this

You can put your temp probe down the stainless tube inside your brew bucket to read the exact temp of your beer. The other hole in the stopper can be used for your airlock.
