Does anyone know if I can sub Lalvin d47 yeast with something else? my lhbs doesn't deal it and i'm planning to brew the hefty braggot recipe..cheers!

Perhaps Red Star's Cote des Blanc. It's another white wine yeast. Either that or Lalvin 71b-1122. Both seem to be good for white wines and meads.
