Should I use amber malt?

Is amber malt a normal ingredient for a wheat beer? Im really just looking for the color out of it. Grain bill is.....4.4# Wheat, 4.4# 2 row, 1# amber.
 
I've never seen a wheat with amber, but that's not to say it's against the rules. Anything flies. It might actually turn out good.

Now, it might be used in some dunkelweizens or weizenbocks, but none that I've seen. Most of those beers use crystal, chocolate, or other malts to produce the color and flavor.
