I want to make an IPA using 12 kinds of hops. Yes, there is a reason I chose 12. Probably mostly American styled. What would you use? Thanks.

Has to be 12? Hmm...maybe:

Ahtanum
Amarillo
Cascade
Centennial
Chinook
Citra (if you can find it)
Columbus
Glacier
Mt. Hood
Nugget
Simcoe
Summit

I'd be very, very sparing with some of those.

Put US Magnum on the list. Great hop for a 90 or 60 minute addition.

1. amarillo
2. cascade
3. centennial
4. chinook
5. columbus
6. crystal
7. first gold
8. galena
9. nugget
10. simcoe
11. summit
12. warrior

Why so many? Do you think you will be able to tell them apart or do you expect to create a whole new aroma/flavor?
