I Found 2 5 Gallon Stoneware moonshine Jugs ..... I just wondering if anyone has ever tried using stone as a primary or secondary. They are galze but they might be a pain to clean due to them being soild you can't see in them very well.
Thanks any input would be appreciated..
 
I think you’re right on with the point on cleaning them.
If I’m picturing them right, you would have absolutely no way of knowing what is stuck to the inside, no matter how much Oxyclean you used.

But, I’m just guessing.

If you think you can get them clean and sanitized. and feel good about it. Give it a try.

Most of them have hairline cracks if you look real close, who knows what is hiding in them.
