Indianopolis or Louisville brew haven

I'm heading to Indy tomorrow and Friday, then heading to Louisville for Saturday night.

Are there any do-not-miss microbreweries or tons-on-tap beer rooms in either of these two that I shouldn't miss?

I figured if anybody would know, it'd be you all!

if you want a huge beer selection on the south side of indy is a place called shallos with the biggest beer list in indy by far

the thread i linked to mentions oaken barrel being weak, i went hteir yesterday and it has changed in the last few years, its not a bad place.

alot of my friends frequent broadripple brew pub their is a lot of eye candy in that area, and a lot of other bars/restaurants within walking distance.

brugge is decent they have fresh mussels with a variety of seasonings and some tasty belgians

Yes. You will for certain want to try Brewgrass Brewing Co. Richo's will quench a thirst.

There has been a little "beer revival" at some of the bars on Shelbyville road. Might want to try Brendans. They have some special beers on tap right now, like Goose Island Matilda, an Orval trappist type and Guiness 250 , which is being tapped @ 6pm this evening!
