Whenever I want to travel with a keg of my beer I have to disconnect my whole CO2 system and bring it with me. Recently I found an Airco 580 Regulator in our shop. The listings on the side say Argon, Helium, Nitrogen. Can I retrofit this regulator to run CO2 or does it have completely different workings.

Thanks Guys. I can get the shaft and nut from my local CO2 shop for $6. Guess i'll see how hard it will be to get the 580 shaft off first. Thanks again

Whoa, get mine at weld shop where I buy CO2/Nitrogen 2.99 for shaft with o-ring and 3.49 for the nut.

I get them free at work so there. But seriously, I was just pointing him to a link, not necessarily to buy the nut and nipple from them, but to show that they are readily available and can be changed without much hassle.
