Does anybody have any experience using a pot from Spike Brewing as a mash tun? I am looking to switch out my cooler for a direct fire mash tun and was hoping that one of those pots would work.

I have the 9 gallon kettle I use for BIAB. Works fine. I've had it for about 4 months and have done 7 BIAB batches. I wanted a 10 gallon but didn't want to wait until they came in but I'm making do.
It keeps the heat very well for my mash. In an hour, I rarely have to add any heat to keep the mash temps I need.

I emailed them and they mentioned that the same false bottom I use for my cooler works for their 20 gallon pots. I just wanted to see if that worked for anybody else before I make my purchase.
