I have a small leak in a corny keg. I know my poppets are leaking but would that matter when the lines are connected. The pin on the disconnects are pushing down on the poppets anyway.

I too would be interested to know if a gas-poppet leak matter when the line is connected.

What's the difference between a gas QD attached to a keg with a perfectly functioning gas poppet vs one with a leaky poppet. Either way, the QD has to seal against the post O-ring, and the poppet has nothing to do with that. And all the same is true for the beer side...

Cheers!

Day, are you saying a poppet leak would not matter if the QD's are connected?
