It appears my air lock is not completely sealed. I think I pushed it in slightly too hard and there is a slight hole. It looks like just the smallest bit of beer came out. Is this a risk for contamination? If its not too late to save, what, if anything, can I do? Thanks!

Use a paper towel & a spray bottle of starsan to clean up the grommet & area thereof. I spray a bit of starsan on the airlock stem & push it back in,but not too far. Just until it's snuged up. The starsan dries a bit & acts like a light glue. We did this at Ford in the engine plants when istalling vacuum tubes to keep them tight.

It needs to be a no rinse sanitizer. I & many on here swear by starsan. Quickest, easiest one to use that works really well.
