I'm going to be traveling to Phoenix(Goodyear) for business on a regular basis and was looking for any recommendations on local breweries/restaraunts to check out. I'll be there on an almost weekly basis for about 6 months. Thanks!

Note that good year is on the far far left away from all of the colorful dots.
You are 18.4 miles from downtown PHX.

Best Brewpubs are:
Sonora Brewhouse Pub and Restaurant
322 E. Camelback Road
Phoenix, AZ 85012
phone: (602) 279-8909
sonorabrewhouse.com

Four Peaks Brewing Company - Tempe
1340 East 8th Street #104
Tempe, AZ 85281
phone: (480) 303-9967
fourpeaks.com/

Papago Brewing
7107 East McDowell Road
Scottsdale, AZ 85257
phone: (480) 425-7439
papagobrewing.com/

Santan Brewing, in Chandler, just opened and the beers show it.

The Pinnacle Peak Micro brewery is the Sonoran Brewing Company which is not to be confused with the Sonara Brewhouse.

Several other national chain brewpubs or beer bars exist such as
Gordon Biersch
Bjs
Rock Bottom
The Yard House
Oggis

Thanks for the info (and the link)! I'll have plenty of time to try them all. Can you get Stone beers in the area? I live in CT and have always wanted to try it after hearing so many good reviews.

Yes, they are pretty widely available even at some grocery stores.

Papago Brewing is a good choice because they serve other craft beers beside their own (they contract out) and have an amazing bottle cooler.

Having spent some time here in the Phoenix area, I just wanted to thank everyone again for the suggestions. Four Peaks had a cask conditioned IPA (Hop Knot) that was really impressive. Actually, their oatmeal stout is probably my favorite! This is just a great place.

Another choice for anyone else that may be interested is the Yard House. They don't brew but have an unreal amount of beer on tap.
