Cracked Grain Shelf Life??

How long do cracked grains last? If I have my LHB store prepare some grains for me, but I can not get to making my next batch for about 3-4 weeks will this have a negative impact on the grains? Stupid question, but will they be hurt by the delay is using the grains quickly?
 
Just pack them up in something airtight, and toss them in the freezer if you can. If you can't put them in a freezer, just make sure it's in an airtight container or bags so air and moisture can't get to it. I had cracked grains in the freezer for 2 or 3 months and it was fine.
