Just received a Brickmann electric smoker for a wedding gift. I have slow roasted pork belly in the oven and crock pot before. This will be my first smoking adventure.

Any advice, tips, or recipes?

Pics or it didn't happen.

And I wish I had advice...I'm looking for a vertical box smoker that won't break the bank. Eventually it will happen.

I will definitely take pictures. I picked up 9.25 pounds of pork belly. I'm going to start brining tonight after work. I'm also thinking that I'll do two recipes, one sweet, one spicy. Also gonna toss on sweet potatoes, whole garlic, peppers, onions, portabella mushrooms and whatever else I think of. I'm considering starting one piece at midnight Friday into Saturday to have some ready for breakfast...
