So this is the first batch I've brewed in haste and didn't check my OG prior to pitching yeast. Well, it's been a week and I just realized I forgot to add half a gallon of water (now mocking me in my fridge). Is there any harm adding the rest when racking to the secondary fermenter?

as long as its boiled, i dont think it will harm your beer... a half gallon of water really wont change the OG too much...

Won't hurt, but why bother. Without it you just have a little less beer but higher ABV.

I'd leave it alone. Chalk it up to experience and enjoy a slightly heavier batch.
