Deception Cream Stout Yeast?

I stopped by my LHBS today and got "most" of the ingredients for this;

except the yeast; she only had dry. it was suggested that I go with SafeAle04 because it goes higher?? WTH?

Anyone have any experience with this strain?

Tough one. If it were mine, I'd wait until I had the right yeast, Wyeast 1450. I've made this recipe several times, and the yeast is a corner I would not want to cut.

But if you really absolutely had to brew this right away, use the S-04, and keep it around 65*.
