This is my first attempt at growing hops. I have a Chinook and a Cascade rhizome going, planted about 3 weeks ago. Right now, the Chinook is coming up, a sprout is about 3 inches long. The Cascade wasn't doing much, so I decided to see what the rhizome was looking like below ground. There are 2 new sprouts coming up, about 1 inch below the ground and about 3 inches long. I decided to move them up a bit so the sun could get at them, but then they wilted. I doubt I killed them, but they do look pathetic now. I'll let them go for a while and see what happens. Any thoughts?

Leave 'em alone, they'll pop up when they are ready!!!

yeah just let them do their thing they will know when it is time to pop up:mug:
cascade is a weed so i'm sure things will be fine if yah just let it be and keep the soil moist.
