Lid for a keggle

I used an angle grinder to cut the top off a half barrel keg to make a keggle and will be doing the same for my HLT. What is generally done for lids on these things? Or is that just skipped?
 
If it's for boiling wort, you wouldn't really want a lid. I suppose during chilling you could use one, but I use foil or nothing. A turkey fryer lid will often fit on them though.

That's actually the direction I was fearing going since if I wanted one for kettle and one for HLT those things aren't cheap :)
