I notice that, even on the Sabco, the Keggle Thermometers are placed about as low as they can go before the curvature of the keg. Is that the norm?
I am installing a Brewmometer on my keggle as it will pull double duty as an HLT till I can procure another Keggle.
I plan on drilling my holes for SS Valve and Thermometer today.
One step closer to 10 gallon batches!!

The lower the better, I welded mine bung in above the the valve and it sucks. I have to have more than 5 gallons of water to get a reading.

That is a good point. I have yet to test it for volume. I wonder what the minimum amount of water will be needed at my lowest possible install point? Not only that, it will be a weldless install meaning I have to get above the curve.
Only one way to find out.
