I was planning on making a starter yesterday afternoon. I took the White Labs yeast out of the fridge a few hours before I was going to make the starter. Well, things got busy and I wasn't able to make the starter. I put the yeast back in the fridge late yesterday. I took it out this morning to make the starter.

So, is the yeast ok going from cold to warm, then back to cold and then to warm?

I think you'll be fine. No different from being shipped in the mail (even with an ice pack, usually by the time I get it the pack is warm at best.)
