Does a Belgian White need to sit in secondary?
I would think not, since you don't want it to be clear.

Is there something I'm overlooking in that assumption?

No, Wit's don't need to secondary and should be consumed fairly young. They don't age all that well. I brew a Wit on a regular basis and usually move it from fermenter to keg in about 10 days and start drinking it about 7-10 days later when it's carbed up.

agreed. you could secondary if you needed the primary for another batch, but keep it short and sweet. you don't want overly yeasty Wit, but a Wit isn't supposed to be sparkling clear at all.

i'd lean towards a couple extra days in primary though, and then bottle or keg like normal.

What I plan on doing with my current belgiam wheat is just keeping it in the primary for 2 weeks then bottling as opposed to the usual 1-2-3 method I encorporate
