I harvested my first batch of cascade the other day. I got 3/4 lb off one rhizome & I think some hung too long & got too dry. We just had torrential rains & flooding so harvesting was out of the question at that time. Should I keep them or are they too dry? Smell great though....

Thanks!!!

I had this happen a few years ago, was about a week away from harvest and then it rained. When the sun came out it burnt them and looked like yours do now. They did not taste good when I brewed with them so I tossed the rest out. However, that was on my second harvest so it may be that I did not dry them well enough too (some of my 3rd year harvest did not get dried enough and they are no good to dry hop with).

my pole came down in a storm in august(3rd or 4th year plants) but i still got a harvest.
first 2 screens full are hallertau and the next are cascade
