So I am new to brewing, am now tasting my first IPA extract brew (third batch) and it's not bad.

I just finished my first AG of a Fat Tire clone and the wort tasted delicious. Will test gravity after I type this.

I am thinking of brewing either a Belgian White or a Hefeweizen next.

Does anyone have a good Widmer Hefe clone recipe? Also, by reading this board and studying Palmer's book, it looks like these wheat beasts can be pretty violent so I am assuming I should use a blow off for this beer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and cheers!

I've got a Fat Tire AG brew tapped right now. It's a little more malty than what I really prefer, but it tastes good. I think with a little more time, it'll be even better.

Widmer Hefe's OK, but I've never brewed it before. However, my last beer was a Belgian Wit, an AHS clone of Blue Moon. It's been in the bottle for 2 wks and already tastes outstanding. Here's my Beer Smith report if you're interested.
