Brewed the first batch this past weekend. The primary bucket o' brown was sealed at 7:00pm Saturday night, and when I got up Sunday morning, and plodded downstairs like a kid on Christmas morning, this was my present:

Sheeeeee's a bubblin'!!! Now to make me some chocolate stout as soon as this is moved to secondary this coming weekend!!!

I'd say leave it in the primary for at least two weeks. I don't use a secondary, I primary for 4 weeks and then bottle waiting at least 3 weeks before drinking. I'll sample one or two before than to see how it's coming along but that's about it.

I just drank an Irish Stout that has been in the bottle for 4.5 months and it was sooo much better than when drinking them earlier.

I love the feeling of getting up the morning after pitching the yeast to find positive results!
