My first All-Grain Brew:


Let me know what you guys think.



Style: Hybrid/ Roggenbier [sort of]

GRAINS

6.6 lbs American 2-Row pale malt

1.31 lbs German Pilsner malt

1.60 lbs American Rye malt

12.8 ozs Crystal 40L

5.9 ozs Brumalt

5.9 ozs White Wheat malt

4 ozs Lactose Powder


ADJUNCTS

8 ozs Rice Hulls added during the mash


MISC

Whirlfloc Tablet at 15 min boil

.50 tsp yeast nutrient at 10 min boil


HOPS

1 oz Vanguard at 60 min boil

.50 German Tettnang at 5 min boil



Water added to mash at 162F and kept at about 152F for 75min


YEAST

White labs WLP036 Dusseldorf Alt
 
way too complicated. what style are you going for so can begin cutting down the grist? you mention roggenbier, but a roggen is basically a hefe with rye, so you'd need a lot more rye and a lot less of these other ingredients
 
I did my first all grain Saturday. It's easy yet difficult all at the same time. I took the advice of many threads on this board and the guy at my LHBS to keep the grain bill simple to really focus on the process. (Temperature, lautering, mash in etc.) just having did it, it was solid advice.
